  • Neal, I apologize. I just read your post again, you were just pointing out the classification. And you did mention that 'They can be used in defense'. I read so many offensive, ignorant, hateful, disgusting comments on my way to your comment, that it clouded my usual reasonable thinking.

  • This missile is not a defensive weapon, true. But it is not an offensive weapon either, as far as India is concerned. It is for deterrence, mostly against China. You, along with a lot of others here, are missing this point.

  • To all those talking about how India should be conentrating on the hunger and poverty: please don't be so naive. Just because there is poverty, doesn't mean you stop doing whatever is needed to defend your country. You have no clue how bad it is to be next to Pakistan AND China.

  • Islamic extremism is a reality but hating muslims doesn't help solve that problem, it actually makes it worse. Faith/religion is a personal thing, it should not, under any circumstances, govern your relationship with the next person. Nor should it incite hatred/mistreatment.
